Alternative photography series(2023 – )
Ongoing investigation of alternative photographic methods in pursuit of sustainable darkroom methods. Phytography is a more-than-human method of image-making. It uses the internal chemistry of plants through a low-toxicity, biodegradable development process.
Explored at Joya: Arte + ecologíca in Sierra de María-Los Vélez Natural Park, Spain (2023). Taught through Printing with Plants: Alternative Photography Workshop during Things We Share Festival at La Centrale Galerie Powerhouse in Montreal (2024).
