Gardening with Ephemeral Technology
Electronic waste (e-waste), microgreens, augmented reality installations(2022 – 2024)
A more-than-human collaboration between the artist-researcher, electronic waste (e-waste), and vegetation. The project explores the binary between living and non-living things, multispecies entanglements, and defying planned obsolescence. It’s grounded in the work of queer, feminist, and environmental scholars such as: Donna Haraway, Mel Y. Chen, Anna Tsing, and McKenzie Wark.
Exhibited at Arborescent during Electronic Literature Organization (ELO) – Overcoming Divides: Electronic Literature and Social Change in Coimbra, Portugal (2023) and Interface at WIP in Montreal, QC (2023).
